Quilling wall decor

I can't believe I had drafted this blog of mine in Jan, and didn't publish it. I guess I am not that good in blogging and also didn't get any comment in m y first blog so kind of got de-motivated.

I got an order last month, so gave my full efforts that weekend and made a beautiful wall decor using quilling...

I used 2 colors : Maroon and Cream, and this is almost 12 inches in diameter.

The original one looks really beautiful.

Hope you like it, please leave comments and let me know if you liked it.. :)

My first project.. Itsy Bitsy Picture Challenge.. :)))

Hey People, this is my first blog. I am turning my crafting passion into profession. So I have created one project only for Itsy Bitsy Picture Inspiration Challenge. And creating two more projects for the same challenege, hope I get time and complete them soon.. ;)

Inspired by the picture, I have created a 3d show piece a bit similar to the picture using quilling technique and some more stuff. I enjoyed a lot making this project as it is completely different and I have never made any 3d craft before, yayeeeeee!!!

In this project, I have used below things :
  • Red, white and black quilling strips (bought from itsy bisty)
  • Red Ribbon (had already)
  • Green Chenille sticks or pipe cleaners (from itsy bitsy )
  • Hard wires (from itsy bitsy )
  • Pink tissue paper (from local store)
  • DCWV pattern paper (from itsy bitsy )
  • 4 red matchsticks (from itsy bitsy )
  • Little flower embellishments (from itsy bitsy )
  • Red and silver rhinestones (from nupur creatives store)
  • Double sided tape (from nupur creatives store)
  • Fevicol (from local store)
  • Red paper (from local store)
  • Chip board (from itsy bitsy )
  • Doily (from nupur creatives store)
Oh!! I can't believe I have used these many little products.. :)) but honestly I enjoyed the project and I am very excited about it. Will be making more for sure. :)

I just love this plant. I tool this idea from online video, and I love making these. But instead of making more flowers, I just used the embellishments.
I don't know how the ribbon idea came into my mind but it looks very cute. ;)
This roof gallery looks just adorable.. :)

Hope you like my project! Please leave a comment, any appreciation or suggestion will be considered... :)))
